Help with the injections for IVF

A weird question one may think.. but I am not living with my partner nor do I have family here in the UK and all my friends are now parents trying to balance children and a demanding career in London.

I am planning to start IVF in the next month and I live in London (Hammersmith/Barnes area but can easily commute to central London and working at Canary Wharf) and I am looking for ideas as to who could give me the daily injections at the front and more importantly at the back. I know that I wouldn't be able to do it myself. Probably I will have to pay, but just wondering if anyone has used someone privately and hopefully not paying a small fortune as finances are also tight.

@NV42 - you may surprise yourself - I was certain I wouldn’t be a able to do my own injections before we got started, but when it came down to it I couldn’t let my DH do it - felt much more in control doing it myself. Also your clinic will teach you how to do it when you get near the tlime 😊

I had to do it myself too since my DH is really squeamish with needles. Honestly the first time was daunting but as soon as I'd done it once I was fine for all the times after - I realised it hurt a lot less than I thought and then I started to look forward to it, because once I'd done it it was over with!

Maybe your clinic will offer it if you are going private, or you could find a private nurse, but you may surprise yourself. Good luck!
