Hi everyone I’m quite new to all this! I have a little boy who is 3 and following 2 miscarriages and trying for 18 months, periods all over the place I was referred for a laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and dye test! I was told all tubes were normal however they found mild endometriosis!! To be honest I’m devastated but they have burned it away!! I’ve been told that I can start clomid at start of my next cycle but I just wanted to know if there are any success stories out there following laparoscopy? We can’t afford IVF and as soon as I’ve healed we will be BD any chance we get but I’m scared that’s it for us now ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

Not sure if the infertility board is the best place to look for success stories but if you search mumsnet talk there are some older ones on various threads. The fact that you already have a child is a good sign, as well as the fact that the endometriosis found was mild. Soon after a laparoscopy is the best time to try. Some studies have shown that the dye test itself may help.

Hi! I’m new to this too! been TTC only for a few months, but have been put on waiting list for laparoscopy, hopefully beginning of next year I should have it. Have you had yours? How did you find out if you tubes were all okay? What is a dye test? As this is biggest worry of mine as they’ve found something on an internal scan which normally results in tubes being blocked.
Sending my love to you x
