CD3 Blood tests

Hi all, desperately hoping someone can help, I have to get private cycle day 3 hormonal blood tests done (FSH, AMH, LH Oestradiol, Prolactin) and my day falls tomorrow (Saturday) as I am paying privately I have an appointment to get bloods taken but just as I'm about to pay the company that does the testing via the hospital they have said they only recommend the test be taken Monday - Thursday which is obviously going to be CD5 and nowhere else can do them. I called the comapny and explained my predicament only for them to say that the tests may spoil if taken on Saturday and they don't recommend it and if they needed to be retaken it would be another £200 which in all honesty I can't afford to take that chance with all the upcoming IVF costs.

What do I do, if I miss this cycle I am looking at IVF in December and I am petrified of leaving it so late, please help what do I do, take the test in hopes the blood won't spoil or take the tests on CD5 ?

Hoping someone can help!!

My understand is they're normally day 1-3 blood tests which obviously gives you a lot more flexibility and you could have had them done Thursday or today?

Surely you're not the first person to have this problem with the private clinic? (I feel like this could have been predicted as highly likely to happen!)

Sorry to say you may have missed this month - other alternative is calling private places and asking if they'll take them for the you tomorrow? What days are the lab open and processing them though?!

I managed to get them done on the Saturday, my friend who is a Consultant Dr arrranged for me to have them done at her hospital, a 4 hour drive away but had to be done as I didn't want to miss this month! she also spoke with her friend at the hospital who is a consutant gynaecologist and he did reassure that hormone levels don't drop in bloods so it would've ok to have them done on day 5 but I just wanted them done!

The letter I had from fertility clinic said tests should be done sometime between days 2-5. Mine were done on nhs on day 4 and no problem
