Results day - bag of nerves!

Have my 2nd appointment today with FS to get all our results back, we previously had these tests done but thought we'd give it another year of TTC (foolish decision) last time round it was unexplained fertility. I'm a complete bag of nerves and need a bit of a hand hold to stop me bursting into tears at any minute....... help!

DH has had 2 semen tests previously, both more or less ok. This time to quote the dr no viable sperm. I'm speechless - help now what !

Hi @Movin did they not discuss with you the next options? They literally need only a few sperm so with lifestyle, supplements etc this may improve over some months.

The other option is surgical removing the sperm form the testicles - we had this on the second cycle (because of high dna damage) and it seemed to make all the difference! Husband didn't find too traumatic (much less so than me with my mild OHSS) but did add an extra £2000 to the cost of ivf.

Next step is an ultra sound for him and more bloods. Forever a waiting game !
