Care Manchester vs Manchester St Marys - thoughts please!

Hi

I have been approved for 1 IVF cycle on the NHS and my choices are to go to either St Mary's Hospital or Care Manchester but I don't know which to choose. Does anybody have any recent experiences with these?

I've heard St Mary's is good but very overstretched and it can take a long time to get seen and treated.

Any input would be appreciated thanks x

Hi @CrCaLa I'm currently having an NHS funded cycle at StMarys and with them receiving the referral from the GP in Feb and starting the cycle in August which I don't think is bad. They've repeated all of the baseline tests, had two consultant apt's and the seminar and teach sessions within those months and I could have started in July but for where my period fell.
That being said, the Care results are much better so if you can travel to either site easily I would go to Care. (I wasn't given the choice) good luck 🍀
