Pregnancy test line took 24 hrs to appear - error or real?

Hi all, did IUI and yesterday did the test, no second line so assumed that was that. Went to throw out stick this morning (24 hours later) and there’s now a faint, but very real, second line.

Is this some type of error do you think? (Because so much time passed), or could it in fact be a positive result?

I’m off out the buy another test in a mo but now missed the morning pee so unsure if I should wait til tomorrow or not.

Argh!

Evaporation line probably.

Likely to be an evaporation line after that length of time I would think.

You shouldn't trust that test. Some brands are well know for having 'evap' lines where the indent is where the dye would settle if the test is positive. As a test dries, some dye settling in that line causes an evaporation line.

Test again. I'd wait till tomorrow (if you can). The longer you wait, the darker and more obvious a line would be and then you won't have this guessing 'am I? Am I not?'

Cheers all, will test again, thanks!
