Backstory: TTC #2 ( DHs first) for two years. Diagnosed with male factor infertility in March this year. Recommended ICSI by clinic. Self funding.
I went for my AMH bloods at the clinic on Wednesday and got a call this morning to say my level was 27 which means ( as long as all of the genetic screens are okay) that we can go down the egg sharing route! I’m a huge bag of excited and scared and nervous - after what seems like forever getting nowhere, it’s all going 100 miles an hour. We have an appointment next Thursday for more screening bloods, a counselling session re the implications of sharing eggs and the official signing of documents etc. DH is waiting on some more blood results to rule out any genetic abnormalities from him too. Apparently it will be a 3-6 month process from this point!
Has anyone else gone down this route?
