Hi,
This is my first post, I’ve only just signed up because I really need some advice.
I took clomid last month as I have PCOS. This was my second cycle (first cycle, I fell pregnant but miscarried at 12 weeks last year).
I had those cheapy 10ml sensitivity tests so I tried one Over the weekend and it was positive all be it at the end of the time frame window! So I used another 5, all positive but again right at the end of the time window. So this morning I tried a first response and it’s negative :,( I don’t know what to think! The timeline just doesn’t make sense to me. This is my dates.....

Provera 20mg taken 15th-20th July
Very light period started 22nd July
Clomid taken 24th-28th July
Positive opk 9th August (although I got a smiley opk on the 9th of August I didn’t really feel like I was ovulating around then. However I did feel like I was ovulating around the 19th of August?!)
Positive sensitive pregnancy test 24th August
First response negative - today (28th August)

Surely a first response would be positive 4 days later?!
What is going on? Could I be pregnant?! We’re the tests wrong? I’m driving myself insane right now!
Literally anyone to talk to about this right now would be brilliant.I just want to know if there is any chance I could be pregnant or if the time scale a weak test lines would mean that either they were dud tests or that it was a chemical
Thank you
X

Morning nopee, when is your af due? Iv been on Clomid this month also and my af is due Monday. Iv done a first response this am and negative. Not really sure what to say about the tests, if you ov on the 19th not sure if would show up yet as too soon but honestly not sure. Just wanted to let you no your not on your own, I'm also going slightly nuts this month as have every symptom for pregnancy but putting it down to tablets. Have you done another test this am? Fingers crossed for you. Xxx

Thank you for replying :) I know how you feel, I honestly feel insane!
I did do a test this morning and thought I saw a line but equally could be imagining it! I don’t know when my af is due as I have totally irregular periods and I’ve never had a cycle clomid without falling pregnant. But I’m on day 38 at the moment :( x

It's so hard!! I didn't have af for 59 days the other month and on clear blue I was getting faint lines but nothing on anything else! Then you convince yourself there are two line but then think your crazy! I have really regular cycles but short 24 days. Had an ectopic last year too and right tube removal due to rupture. Iv never had pregnancy symptoms since but wow this month Iv got them all, sore nipples, cramping, creamy cm, mood swings, just cried at a video on Facebook! Literally the works but convincing myself it's the Clomid! Did it take a long time on previous pregnancies for your hormone to show on tests? Sometimes you just produce less. You got a picture of the test? Xxx

Haha I’m glad I’m not alone I’m feeling that way! Im really sorry about your loss and your eptopic.
With my daughter, she was a huge surprise and I didn’t even test until 6 weeks so I’m not sure but with the mc last year the hcg seemed to rise nicely.
I spoke to the gp and she says she thinks it was a chemical because the hcg level is now only at 2 :( I’m not gonna lie, I am upset and I probably shouldn’t be at work without sorting myself out but I guess I’ll keep plodding on :(

I'm so sorry lovely. 😢 for the rubbish news and the mc. Try and keep your chin up, I think we're expecting miracles

shelleybear0313 · 29/08/2018 14:39

Sorry sent that too soon! New to this🙈. What I was saying was I think we're expecting miracles from this drug, especially with so many success stories. It's our first month so we have plenty more, I know I'll be in the same boat as you Monday. 😢 give your body chance to adjust to the Clomid and fingers crossed a little bean will stick next month. What mg of Clomid will you be on next time? A really big hug being sent your way! 💖💖💖xxx
