Can tubes unblock naturally?

Hi, I only have one tube following removal of the other after an ectopic pregnancy. I had the test where they use dye and was told that the other tube was completely blocked. My question is whether or not tubes can give this result in a dye test but then become unblocked by themselves?

No. Is the short answer.

It's generally difficult to say what has exactly cause the blockage (scar tissue? Inflammation? Endo?). But this isn't something that clears up on its own.

In the gentlest possible way, try to start thinking about how ivf makes you feel.

I have heard of the actual dye test unblocking the tube but it depends how bad it is.

If you've got a partially unblocked tube you could end up with another ectopic.
