Not much to say really. One day someone mentioned Clomid after we'd been trying for 2yrs. I ordered it online (risky i know) but was getting desperate Sad. I used the first round and conceived that same month. Never mentioned it to anyone. DS is now 14yrs old. Wishing you all tons of luck.

I was prescribed a half dose after miscarriages and irregular periods. I got pregnant on the 3rd or 4th month of taking it. I wouldnt do it without being prescribed though. Not sure if they still do but i was scanned several times before ovulation to check all was fine (not producing too many follicles).

Good luck!

We conceived on month 3 of Clomid in 2103, all good no side effects that I can think of. TTC no2 was a different story and we had Clomid again but no joy with that and you can only take it for up to 12 months. I've also just had 6 months' worth of Tamoxifen which is something else to consider if Clomid doesn't work for you, for some reason. It has less effects on the lining of the uterus so there are other options. Good luck & hope it goes well. Smile

I have 2 clomid babies. Didn't ovulate naturally. With my eldest both day 21 and day 28 blood test showed ovulation hadn't happened, so thought that month was out, but ovulated late and got my bfp! He's 3 now. So make sure you dtd regularly the whole month to give yourself the best chance!

One tip I was given when I took Clomid was to take it in the evening just before going to sleep. Doing that can help lessen any side effects of the medicine as you are asleep.
I felt perfectly well on it but took it at night just in case.
I took it for 6 months with the dose being increased half way through. I didn't fall pregnant during the 6 months but did a month later. The clomid may well have helped even though I didn't take any that particular month.
Good luck.
