Wondering if anyone has experience of either London Woman's Clinic or CRGW in Cardiff and happy to share experiences, just trying to weigh them both up. Thanks in advance x

Hi, we are on the NHS waiting list, however we were sent to CRGW to do a few of our tests and found them so lovely that we have been thinking of using them and paying private to speed up a few tests. Sorry not more help

Hi, I had a cycle at London women’s, unfortunately a failed one. I liked them a lot, lovely staff, very attentive, took time explaining things. The only thing I wish they had is a better referral system for male factor. DH felt a bit left out. We are now trying male specialist to try and improve his side of things before the next round. Good luck!

Thanks Miss83 good luck and I hope you don't need to wait too long for your treatment. We're you referred by NHS to CRGW for tests?
Valetta sorry your first attempt didn't work wishing you lots of luck for the next go! Our issue is male factor but hadn't been given any treatment options for him, would be interesting to know what that treatment would be? I'm also PCOS but not sure how much affect this is having on the ttc process.

They didn’t give us any treatment for male factor. After failed round we decided to go to an urologist/andrologyst privately to see what we can do to improve things.

Ok thanks Valetta good luck to you both.

We used CRGW for last two cycles, found them to be super nice and a lot more amenable and professional than BCRM (who we used for our first cycle).

CRGW made us feel like we were human beings, not just numbers. They have always been super quick to get back to us when we’ve had questions, usually same day. BCRM on the other hand were disorganised and I never felt as well supported as I do with CRGW.

CRGW also have a fabulous head embryologist, Lyndon Miles, he is a true expert in his field.

I had my IUI at CRGW today! they are AMAZING. Had IUI a few months ago which ended in MC and they were just sooooo kind and caring. And flexible with appointments. Strong recommendation.

superlady yes refered by the NHS and even though we were not paying and were supposed to wait three weeks for our results but as it wasnt good news they decided to ring is the same day as they didn't want us to get lost in the system. If we do any treatment private I would 100% use them.

Pegs11, Banana8080 and Miss83 thanks for taking the time to reply it's really helped and will press on with CRGW. I wish you all the best if luck xx

Your welcome superlady and good luck to you to x

I have had meetings with both, and we both much preferred CRGW. We just both knew which we preferred, there was no discussion or back and forth as they were streets ahead. A friend of mine went with London clinic in town, as it's closer to our work and she cried as her iui experience was so awful. That confirmed our choice and we are due to start ivf at CRGW this month.

Superlady · 18/08/2018 14:55

Thanks lemonsqueezy hope the treatment goes well for you xx
