Any advice for a first timer (frozen transfer)

Any advice of what I can do to prepare and improve success for a FET? (We had ivf and icsi had to freeze our embryos because I had OHSS)

I'm currently waiting for my ovulation positive result then 6 days later we'll have our embryo implanted...

First timer and no idea how I should prepare! I've been eating healthy (still have my treats) I've cut down on caffeine, also looking into accupuncture.

Any advice? Also any experiences from the day of transfer?

Appreciate the reading and any any replies thanks in advance xx

I am in the same postion as you

I had hospitalised OHSS so couldn't do fresh so waiting to do frozen.
Are you doing natural or medicated?
Will keep an eye on this!

Defo do acupuncture. Whack a couple of paracetamol before embryo transfer. Take it easy for a few days afterwards... minimise your responsibilities as much as poss... watch lots of funny videos... apparently it’s proven that laughter helps implantation... I recommend searching for funny cats/dogs on YouTube! Eat nourishing food like beef stew/broth, eggs, chicken... go easy on the sugar. You'll be fine x

I'm in exactly same position as melissa1215 and MyIVFHart. I had OHSS and needed to freeze all and now getting back on short medicated FET protocal just waiting for AF.

Hi

Our frozen embryo transfer worked after a failed fresh cycle.

I did everything that i saw recommended that seemed remotely sensible.

Took baby aspirin after transfer
Acupuncture
Took omega 3 before and after
My acupuncturist recommended messima a herbal tablet
Kept my feet warm
Didn't wear perfume to my transfer

Don't know if any of it helped but baby is almost 4 weeks now

Good luck x
