STI checks

Just a question on the STI checks you need to have before IVF, can you just go and have them done at your local STI Clinic? And if so is there a time limit on how long before treatment you can have them done? I can see that fertility clinics charge for these but my local STI clinic checks you for free for anyone. Thanks for any help you can give

It's 3 months before egg collection for first cycle and 2 years for subsequent, you need a print out of them not just a text which some gum clinics use, you need to make sure they do the correct ones too as there's different HIV/Hep and a lot of places run the wrong ones

Check with your clinic incase it differs but it's usually

HIV antibody
Hep B Surface antigen
Hep B core antibody
Hep C antibody

Plus Rubella and Chlamydia for females
