I wonder if I might be able to call on the knowledgeable members of this forum - regarding the situation with my husband. He was diagnosed with several male fertility issues, all of which have been linked to heat. He had a successful varicocele operation, which we are in the waiting stage for finding out whether it has had an impact on his results. This is due to be taking place later in the month.
Anyway - the reason for my stress is now a foreign holiday! We are due to be attending a very good friends wedding in Portugal this weekend - with temperatures expected to reach 48C. My husband is meant to be wearing morning dress (!) and I'm really worried about the impact of all this heat. I've read that anything above 37C will have a real impact on his sperm, so I'm worried that this trip into such severe temperatures is going to impact on his results?
Am I being a total fuss - or would you feel uncomfortably about this situation too?
Thanks in advance - I'm so worried - and sometimes feel that infertility is just taking our all my thoughts and causing irrationality! xx
