ICSI File - 'sticky eggs'

Quick question please:

I have received my notes for a failed ICSI. We are male factor infertility with reduced ovarian reserve. On the embryologist report it says:

'sticky eggs', sperm ok

does anyone know what this may mean?

Dr. Google not so helpful on this and my follow-up is not for a while yet...

Thanks!

Note sure but it might mean that the eggs weren't great quality when injecting them.

This could be that they weren't quite mature high so related to when they harvested them and drugs in the cycle rather than your quality so to speak.

When's your debrief- hey should go through stuff like that x

thanks for the reply @hoping2018...I think you may be right, the only couple of posts I have seen on the web suggest sticky eggs make it difficult to inject the sperm during icsi...my de-brief isn't until mid October, but am working on trying to improve my eggs in the meantime..xx
