Hi all, can anyone help me answer some questions please?

Am I right in thinking everyone is now entitled to 3 rounds of ivf in Scotland?

Does this include using donor eggs?

What is the current waiting list?

My partner has children from a previous relationship, would this stop us being accepted for ivf?

Thanks.

Hi,

Yes in Scotland it's now 3 rounds of IVF (depending on when you have been referred by your doctor) if you haven't been referred yet then it will be 3.

We waited about 6 months to get an appointment but I think every hospital's waiting list is different. We went to the royal in Glasgow.

Sorry I'm not sure about donor eggs or if either of you have children from a previous relationship.

Hope that helps a little, good luck xx

As long as one half of the couple has no biological children, you are eligible.
