Hi guys,

My cycles have been irregular since I had a craniotomy 2 years ago August. Me and my partner have been trying to conceive since Nov 2016 and with no such luck. My periods have been irregular since my op and I worked out that I had 9 periods in 12 months. Generally speaking my longest cycle length was 46 days however I am now on day 68 and still no period. I am currently under a consultant at the reproductive medicine dept at the hospital but don't appear to be getting anywhere fast. Has anyone had such a long cycle and managed to get pregnant? I'm driving myself mad thinking the worse. (I've done a test..Okay well several and I'm not pregnant..) but I'm so worried something is going on that hasn't been picked up. I've had so many tests from the gp, gynocologist and now at the hospital. I was starting to think maybe early menopause but surely that is really early considering I'm only 29? The doctors / consultant hasn't ssid this mind but Google has sent my mind into overdrive.

Any advise would be gratefully received.

They have given me clomid today to start taking on day 2 of my cycle however being on day 70 I've no idea when it's likely to happen. I have a scan on Monday to see if the lining of my womb has got thicker if not they are on about me starting clomid straight away? Anybody had this and has it worked for them?

Any advise really appreciated.

Alls I know if you need to start clomid with a bleed. So ask for norestherone (sp?) to induce a bleed if is comes to that.

I have a scan on monday so hoping that will give me some answers of some sort. I'm on day 72 atm. I did mention provera which I also saw online makes a bleed induce so will have to wait and see. Of the lining of my womb is still thin I'm not likely to get a bleed am I? The nurse did mention that I would just start taking clomid straight away instead of messing around. I guess I will just have to wait and see what happens tomorrow. Anyone had any thing like this happen to them?
