I had my 1st IVF cycle in 2014 and we were incredibly lucky and grateful for it to be a success. Our baby was born later that year and is now 3 yo.
I had a consultation with my fertility doctor today, to discuss our second cycle of IVF, in an attempt for baby #2. I have AMH and ultrasound tests booked for tomorrow.
My AMH levels were on the low side of normal (14 pmol/l) 4 years ago. I was only 30 then, so I'm feeling slightly apprehensive about how much they may have deteriorated since. Particularly now I'm bordering on the 35 year old fertility decline.
It would be great to chat with any other ladies of a similar age who've had successful first attempts and tried IVF again. Was it successful or not?
