Blocked tube....what next?

I had a laparoscopy and dye test recently to treat endo and find out why I'm not ovulating (by hormone blood tests). Surgeon removed the endo they found this time, but my left tube was completely blocked.

I'll have routine follow up with gynae in about two months time, I was just wondering if anyone else had been through this and what I can expect to happen next.... Clomid? More waiting?

Trying to keep in good spirits!

Hi there!!!

I have endo and my tubes were blocked as well. My fertility doctor recommended me to go through a tuboscopy (or sometimes called falloscopy). It was a small intervention, under sedation, to try to unblock the tubes. The doctor seamed pleased with his work but I didn't get pregnant afterwards (they asked me to wait 6month after the intervention to see if I could become pregnant naturally). I'm now doing IVF. Good luck to you!! X

Thanks for your reply @Street80 - I hadn't heard of those procedures before so will have a read up on them Smile
