Experiences of NHS IVF referral

Hi
Hoping someone may be able to help! Me and DH have been ttc for 2+ years now. We are currently under our local nhs fertility clinic and diagnosed with subfertility - anovulation. I was prescribed 50mg Clomid and got pregnant twice but misscarried twice (both at 5 weeks).

On the first MC (Nov ‘17) we told the clinic and they advise our ivf referral (which should have been May ‘18) would be put back a year, because technically I convinced.

On the second MC (May ‘18) - our last round of Clomid - our clinic told us they will do a blood test to investigate recurrent MC however the clock for our IVF referral has reset AGAIN, Meaning we won’t be referred until May ‘19 (making 3+ years ttc). We’ve been told to keep trying naturally in the meantime. surely this doesn’t seem fair? I’m not sure if to insist they refer us, or bid my time? I’m so worried that if we do conceive and MC again we’ll be in a constant cycle of resetting the clock.

I just wondered if anyone else has experienced similar?

Thank you x

I’m so sorry to hear about your miscarriages. I have no experience of this but I feel very sorry for you and your partner and think if you can you should try to insist you get referred for IVF ASAP. This seems very unfair to me and a few people I know who have miscarried still did not have their IVF start date put back-everything stayed on track time wise. Good luck with everything.
