Hi... I'm currently in the tww and my otd is 04/07 but I've been very naughty and tested yesterday, the line was barely visible yesterday and this evening I tested again 6dp5dt it was still faint but more visible..

Does the trigger stay in the system for this long and can the trigger line go from barely visible to darker?? Or have I finally got my BFP after 10 years of ttc!!! Any advice or any past experiences with the same?

I had this question about trigger last week. At 5dp5dt I got a faint line that got darker the next day. If it gets darker, it definitely isn't trigger (which would get fainter).

So congrats on your bfp!!!

I could not wait and tested last Friday on my 9dp5dt and got faint line in the evening, then on Saturday the line was very very faint, today is my OTD and I used First Response and the line is faint but visible so hopefully it will get stronger in a couple of days. I am scared to be happy...........

2 FAILED ivf cycles, 3rd one-scratch, steroids and progesterone injections once a week plus proganova and cyglogest... fingers crossed...

Hello Smile

I mostly lurk but thought I'd post. Yesterday I was 8dpd5t and woke up to some brown discharge when I wiped. Wasn't sure what to think so took a test that i had in my drawer and it was a faint positive. Same again this morning but discharge has stopped.

As am on progesterone suppositories that could have contributed to irritation? My OTD isn't until this Friday but i only tested after seeing the discharge.

Hoping it is all ok!

@cluecu I've not had the discharge but I've heard it's a good sign! So keep positive. Wishing you the best of luck you get your BFP x

Trigger can stay in your system for about 7-10 days but depends on the strength of the short.

Shot not short!
