HSG - blocked tube 🙁

Just had my HSG test (which was not as painful as I thought it would be). The horror stories about the HSG took over my thoughts and I suppose I didn’t prepare myself for results which would show a blockage but rather good ones which would rule blockage out. The HSG showed one of my tubes was completely blocked ☹️
They thought it might be in spasm and gave me a spray under my tongue to open up my vessels, but still no luck. My other tube was fine and the consultant said I only need one. It just feels so awful though.
I have no idea where I’m going to go next, and I have no appointment until the end of August. Feel completely deflated and in limbo. Has anyone else experienced this result from their HSG and Ming sharing what happened next?

I had exactly this and had my right tube removed as I figured I wasn't getting pregnant with it, might as well try without. I still didn't get pregnant but when I went for my IVF consult the consultant was keen for it to be removed as there is some evidence to suggest the fluid contained within a blocked tube can prevent a successful pregnancy. I'm now in my TWW following IVF.

Hello,
I had the scan in December and it showed that both tubes were blocked. I then got told I would need to have a diagnostic laparoscopy to confirm this and they would also try and fix the blockage if possible. I had the surgery last week - very frustrating to have to wait 6 months for the surgery due to NHS waiting lists! So the results showed both were blocked in the middle and there's nothing that they can do to repair them. I was kind of prepared for that outcome though as I heard it's rare they do tubal surgery although he did say that had they been blocked at one end rather than the middle they might have been able to do something. So I've been referred for IVF but I feel positive about that and it seems the wait is about 3 months which I can live with.
