BFP after 3 years of trying

I’ve name changed for this as it’s very early but I’ve just had my BFP today after 3 years of TTC. We have had our first appointment at the clinic and am awaiting the results of our second round of tests with a consultant appointment next month. I can’t quite believe it and both my DH and my reaction was disbelief/too good to be true this morning. I’m just hoping everything is ok and it’s not a chemical pregnancy. This is the first time we have conceived. Also worried that I had a majorly boozy two wedding weekend last weekend!

Congratulations!! That's amazing. Too early for booze to have any effect. Just enjoy the feeling 😊

Excellent!

That's not just a positive!! The test line is darker than control and it says 3+! You must have pretty high hcg and/ or be at least 5 weeks along!! Massive congrats!!

PurpleFlower1983 · 28/06/2018 20:27

Last period was 26th May and only lasted 3 days. I was due on on Saturday so I think I’m just under 5 weeks Smile

Congratulations it really gives hope after trying for long!I am having IVF at the end of the year and I want to think that it can happen naturally!

PurpleFlower1983 · 28/06/2018 22:59

I had completely given up hope that it would happen naturally, we had tried everything we could think of and nothing. We only DTD once during my ovulation period aswell.

We did both go on a health kick this last few months, going to the gym and swimming 4 or 5 times a week, eating healthily, cutting down booze etc.
