How painful is the pipelle?

Hi, as part of FET treatment I'm having my pipelle (endometrial scratch?) tomorrow and wondered how painful it's going to be? I dread smears and find them very invasive so maybe I'm a lightweight?

I'm also having a one off injection that replaces daily injections that has menopause like side effects of hot flushes, not get sweats etc. Suffice to say I'm dreading tomorrow. Is anyone in the same boat and can advice how to treat or prepare for either of these. I will call the clinic too.

Answering my own question if anyone is interested. It did hurt and I cried out a few times. I felt sick and nauseous from it for couple of hours.

I might have to have an intrauterine something or other, and frankly: no. A smear is as far as I can go without being knocked out (may have no choice). You were very brave.
