IVF for non fertility reason anyone? Genetic screening..

Hi It looks like I will probably have IVF for genetic screening reasons and wondered if anyone else had been through this?

Yes, I'm doing ICSI with PGD. Success rates depend on so many factors, not least age. For me, it's a numbers game of getting the most embryos possible on the basis that a large number will be no use because of my age, and of the rest 50 % will have the genetic condition.

There is a really supportive thread on Fertility Friends called TTC with PGS/PGD which is worth checking out for a bit more advice. Good luck, it's a lot to take in!
