Infertility
TTC for 12 years

Hello All
So me and my husband have been trying to conceive for over 12 years.
I went to see the DR who arranged for me to see the fertility nurse.
I was told by the fertility nurse I could have chlomid but I had to loose a little weight to begin this (always the answer) however all my results as in blood tests come back normal.
I went back to the Dr who finally agreed I needed to be sent for a scan after I mentioned to him yes I’m not falling pregnant but my periods are so painful, they can last up to 2 weeks and I feel exhausted during them, plus after using a super plus tampx, a night time sanitary towel and it only lasting an hour!! I almost eat painkillers to help the pain, how on earth I haven’t overdosed I’ll never know!!
Cut a long story short I reveived a call 4 years ago to be told I had a fibroid, also I was anaemic so I was given lots of different tablets to help the pain and help to prevent me loosing to much blood.
I have since been going backwards and forwards to the drs saying none of it is working and I can no longer cope the pain is to intense.
I was sent for another scan to only find my womb is all distorted that fibroid I had turned out to a submucosal fibroid, 5cm and was pushing my womb out.
I nearly cried I had an answer, I was sent straight back to the gynaecologist who was fabulous, sadly I had to get an endometrial biopsy (this is a whole different story) I was prescribed prostap 3.75mg injections to induce the menopause and HRT tablets, I was told this would shrink the fibroid and I could hopefully finally fall pregnant, in my mid 30s talk about an old Mum.
So today is day 2 feel normal no side affects at the minute.
My question is has anyone else had this treatment and fell pregnant I really want to read a true happy ending story, I hope I have one one day.

Oh my goodness, I never thought I'd find anyone who had struggled for longer than me. It took us 9 years and 8 months but we now have two biological children both of whom were conceived naturally. I can't provide any answers I'm afraid but I have recorded my infertility journey with the aim of offering hope, comfort and support to others. If you are interested in watching it you are more than welcome.
I'm so sorry you've suffered for so long. My heart is aching for you right now. I pray that you have your family very, very soon.
Sending lots of hope and positivity your way.
Love Suzy

BTW, I was in my mid 20's when I first started TTC. I was in my mid 30's when my body finally woke up and realised how to do it. Yesterday was my 40th birthday. Yes, I'm slightly older than the other mums on the playground but who cares! Don't let your age be a fear factor hun. xxx

Your video is very inspiring, what a rollercoaster you have been through, I am sorry for your loss and happy you got your happy ever after.
I have to remain hopeful who are we without this.
I have just come out of hospital, the biopsy I had became infected, after further tests they found I also have cysts on my right ovary, they said it can just disappear by itself, hopefully it will go whilst I'm going through this induced menopause, I go back in 6 weeks for a check up.
They did scan my womb again whilst in hospital and the the sonographer was very helpful. She answered my questions and showed me how badly my womb is distorted, she explained to me also the embryo has no where to attach whilst this fibroid is present.
I can only remain hopeful this will work and we finally complete our family with a little one ❤️
