Hi, i am new to all this...just wondering what everyone elses experience is.

Has anyone with a Low AMH level low as mine 2.47 been accepted for the Access Fertility refund programme? Or conceived naturally with a low Amh as mine.

Abit about me i have been trying to conceive for 5yrs now, i have had 1 icsi cycle - unsuccessful due to low quality and quantity of eggs. I am now preparing for 2nd cycle and am hoping to be accepted on the refund programme with Care Birmingham.
I have had 6 sessions of reflexology hoping that would help not sure what else i would do.
Please advise

Sounds like improving quality is the key here. Have you read “It Starts With The Egg”? I read this after my first unsuccessful ICSI and implemented a number of the recommendations before my second (successful) ICSI cycle.

I started taking ubiquinol and extra vitamin D, cut down on simple carbs, caffeine and alcohol. Also changed from long protocol to short, from Gonal F to Menopur and had the endometrial scratch and embryo glue.

I only ever had 2 good embryos on each cycle. It is quality over quantity.

Good luck.

Hi Cottipus many thanks for replying.
I will read on what you mentioned.
How long did you do the preparing for before you went for second cycle?
If you dont mind me asking what was your amh and fsh?

Hi Uhmeed,

It was about 8 months between cycles as lots of things happened in the interim and it took a while to get going and have retests etc.

My AMH was 13, not sure about my FSH. I had 7 eggs on each cycle. Which I think was on the low side even for my AMH.
