IUI success stories anyone?

Hello everyone.
So I'm 35 (tomorrow) recently found out my egg count is low and not producing the best quality eggs. Hubby is good, just low volume.
Instead of jumping strait into IVF we have opted for IUI.
I'm having my HSG next week. All being well we can try natural IUI as my progesterone levels were good.
As we're self funding for this, I wonder if anyone could share their stories with me.

I have “unexplained infertility” - basically nothing majorly wrong but I have low progesterone and I ovulate really late in my cycle. Husband also has slightly dodgy sperm but also nothing massively wrong.

First pregnancy was on 3rd cycle of IUI, second pregnancy on the 2nd cycle. I initially was on clomid, then switched to femera which worked much better for me. I didn’t have to do any injections myself, just had the trigger shot from the nurse before the IUI.

For me IUI was a pretty simple easy process so I would highly recommend it to anyone if it’s an option before trying IVF. Let me know if you have any other questions and good luck!

Found out my progesterone is good and I definitely ovulate.
Had chemical pregnancy this cycle, which I am yet to tell doc.
So, having my tubes checked on Thursday and all being well going for natural IUI.
Don't really want drugs if I can help it, so going to give it a shot without. Dr seems happy for us to do this as we need to wait for Nhs to agree ivf anyway. And I'm currently over on the bmi chart, so trying to loose weight.

Hey, just jumping in on this, We have had one unsuccessful medicated iui just starting the second.x

I'm on my 2nd IUI now/tomorrow

1st clomid and IUI and I'm injecting today too
