Scratch - ouch!!!!

So had my second scratch today, it was horrific! My cervix kept on moving so Dr put a clamp on it to keep it in one place. Oh my goodness it was awful. The nurse did warn me that it would be a bit uncomfortable! A bit uncomfortable is probably the understatement of the year!

Husband sat behind me not knowing what to do. I mean I wasn’t screaming like someon in labour but I really felt like I should have been offered some gas & air. I felt a bit traumatised after

Oh well it got me an afternoon on the sofa with regular cups of tea & biscuits brought

God how IVF ruins all of your dignity

I had the clamp used with my first scratch 2 weeks ago! I agree awful!! Unfortunately DH couldn't make it to hold my hand either.

Had awful cramps the next day too which made cry and I had to leave a dinner party early.
It better bloody help!!!

Hoping2018 it’s awful isn’t it! I keep getting stomach cramps, I’m finding that a warm wheat bag is helping

Snap!! Clamp and 3 attempts to do the damn thing as my "cervix is nice and wide which is great for EC but not so great for the scratch". It literally brought tears to my eyes.

Plus I had told my OH not to come as it was 'minor' so I had to drive home in agony!! 🙈
