Totally new to the ivf and assisted conception route. In a nut shell there is an issue with DH swimmers. He has a low count and low motility. Can’t remember the exact numbers off the top of my head but can dig out the paperwork. Doctor said it wasn’t impossible to get pregnant naturally just a lot harder. We have been told to start the fertility treatment application and will qualify for funding for two rounds of ivf.

My question is what’s happens now? We have some forms to fill in but what should I expect? I have no idea the difference between say natural ivf or normal ivf or ivf and isci or iui or what these acronyms stand for! Can anyone give me an idiots guide to assisted conception please?? Thanks
