Progesterone Level? Any ideas what this means?

I am currently starting with fertility tests (oh the joys!) and was referred for a blood test (on day 26 of a 38 day cycle) to see if I'm ovulating. My Doctor said my Progesterone Level was 26 and normal range ends at 27. He could not explain it anymore as he was not a specialist, which means I'll have to wait till July to find out what this means. Anyone have have any idea?

On a 38 day cycle, the test should be taken cd 31. Such a high level only a couple of days after ov (level peaks 7 days before af) I would say you ovulated.

Thank you! Not having regular cycles so it's hard guess when to have blood test!
