Buying IVF meds online - specifically fertility2u

I've been getting some quotes together for my IVF meds. Asda, Stork and Sainsbury's all quoted me between £1k to £1.1k.

I also emailed off to fertility2u as they've done some blood tests for us previously and they've come back at £550! In particular their price for Gonal F seems to be about 50% of the other places. It just seems a bit too good to be true.

Has anyone else bought from them in the past? Could you share your experiences please?

Yes they were by far the cheapest for my cycle too. We went with them, excellent service, very helpful advice over the phone. Drugs were discreetly packaged so delivery to work no problem. Would definitely recommend them. They have links to my clinic so seemed an extra discount was applied (they have tiered pricing depending on your clinic). Good luck!

That's brilliant, thanks so much @Scottishgirl85.

Who did you have your cycle with if you don't mind me asking?

We cycled with Reprofit in Czech republic

That's where we're going. Oh that's brilliant. You've properly set my mind at rest. Thank you so much.

Ah what a coincidence! That's why you've got the cheapest drug prices then, they've got a connection with Reprofit. We were really pleased with our treatment at Reprofit, wishing you all the best x

Just wanted to chime in that I also bought my meds from fertility2u and also did my IVF at Reprofit! Highly recommended to get your meds from fertility2u, their price was the cheapest Grin

@Antonia79 thanks for letting me know. You know what it's like when something's just that little bit too good to be true? You've both really reassured me.

We've just placed the order.

I have used them and had no problems, would definitely recommend

Just about to place an order with Fertility2U that I've found to be £800 cheaper than other pharmacies including Asda. I'm also using Retrofit in Czech, so if anyone would like to share their timeline/journey, so that I know what to expect, I'd be so grateful.

I know this is an older thread, but I was looking at using fertility2u but then on trust pilot they have zero reviews? Even 6 years after this thread was started? I’m usually on happy using sites that seem to have a presence on trust pilot but these don’t?

blahblahetc · 20/02/2024 16:33

I think a lot might have changed since 2018! I used them previously with my first cycle with Create and I find they are expensive and quite rubbish with following instructions. I almost had to use them again with my overseas prescription, they might be the only one who accepts online prescriptions unfortunately.

If you have a wet-ink prescription, best place would be Asda.

RedWalls · 20/02/2024 18:17

We’re with an overseas clinic so I think they’re the only ones we can use I guess as prescription will be from Europe and emailed?

kirstysmbc · 20/02/2024 18:18

My clinic is overseas and I used fertility medication centre. I would def recommend them
