Hi! I’ve posted a few times here but finally after what feels like forever (2 years TTC) my partner had investigations before we were together and he had extremely low sperm count and poor motility making natural conception practically impossible and I was Too young for ivf at the time but...
Yesterday we got the news that we’ve been referred for icsi and we applied for our funding which the doctor anticipates will be excepted and also found out I have high fertility while my partners sperm count has improved significantly and we’ve been given a little bit of hope and I’m so happy!
My partner is elated, we’ve really struggled with the possibility we couldn’t have our own baby but this really has been the best news we could of hoped for.
I don’t know much about icsi and I’m wondering if anyone has been through it and has any advice or can give me an idea of what I’m expecting?
We’ve only just got through the investigations I’ve been prodded and poked a lot already 😂 haha
