So I woke up after my egg retrieval and felt fine. Afterwards i went for an acupuncture session to help any swelling. Felt no different afterwards. Went home had some food and then my pain meds wore off and heaven help me the pain! I feel so bloated and it often feels like a have excruciating trapped wind, it’s all over, from just under my boobs in the middle, to my pelvis to my back. My boobs are sore and I feel so sick. Have hardly slept. Has anyone else had this because I’m scared something is wrong. I was told I was low risk of OFSS

Hi, yes! I was in absolute agony the first time and so sick. I ended up calling friends to drive from an hour away to drive me another hour to the clinic (DH was away) and vomited all over the back seat (fortunately leather) of their brand new week old car! I genuinely thought I might be dying the pain was so excruciating! Got to the clinic for them to tell me it was all normal and it would pass, there was nothing they could do for me. It did, but on the other hand I had 3 more rounds and never felt anything like as shocking so not sure it's that normal. I would go get it checked out for your peace of mind but yes, apparently the bloating, wind and nausea is all 'normal'.

I got this both times. You need really strong painkillers. Co-codamol worked best for me. And lots of fluid, still water and peppermint tea. It does pass Flowers
