Supplements for IVF

I have just had a cancelled cycle due to thin lining. Am planning ahead to next cycle and want to do all I can to improve lining. I know it can grow as it's reached 9.7mm on a previous cycle. What supplements should I be taking? I've read about:

L-Arginine
Vitamin D
Vitamin E
Selenium

But not sure about dosage or when to start taking them. I'm going to have a "rest" for a month and then try a natural FET. Should I take the supplements from now, or wait till I start the natural FET cycle?

You may also want to investigate raspberry red leaf tea, and maybe starflower oil??

Not a specific issue I've tried to tackle, but pretty sure I've run across these in my years of research...

My lining was 6.3mm on my FET. For my next fresh, I ate beetroot, drank pomegranate juice and raspberry leaf tea. Also, put hot water bottle on my tummy every night. My lining then went to 9.4mm. But that could have been because I was on different stimulation drugs. My oestrogen levels were way too high 😔 so, more likely was the drugs.
Doesn’t stop me from eating/ drinking that again next time round!

Good luck. X

@1Wanda1 im so sorry to hear your cycle was cancelled, it must be so disappointing :( I’m going to have my first FET in May and wondered what drugs you were on? My consultant said if my lining wasn’t thickening enough he would give me extra oestrogen patches- did you have these too?

Everything crossed your next attempt goes smoothly xx

Hi Summerloving17. On my 2 previous cycles i have had progynova and cyclogest. Progynova thickens the lining and you have cyclogest later on for 5 days before ET (and continuing after).

In my 2 previous cycles I had doses of 6-10mg progynova a day. Starting lower and increasing later. Lining got thick enough by day 15. This time, the clinic failed to increase the dose at the right point in the cycle. They did increase it later, AND added a patch, but it did not thicken any more and so was only 6.3mm by what would have been ET day. Cycle cancelled.
