Ovulation and ivf

Now I know your not supposed to ovulate during IVF treatment. But I know my body and I really feel that I will be ovulating in the next couple days, glow confirms this and today I had a faint second line on an ovulation test, also suggesting ovulation. I need to check again tomorrow morning. I’m due to have my hcg injection Monday and egg retrieval Wednesday as long as all goes to plan, but my follicles are not playing game and this may need postponing until Friday. Has anyone else ovulated during ivf and what happened?

What protocol are you on? You will usually be prescribed something to inhibit the LH surge to prevent premature ovulation. (I had Cetrotide, but protocols differ)

A faint line on an ovulation test is usually a negative, the second line needs to be either as dark as, or darker than the test line.

I am probably just being paranoid, I'm on Suprecur so shouldn't ovulate, did another test this morning and it's still negative with a faint line so hopefully it will hold off xxx
