The only thing I can tell you is that you have low ovarian reserve- meaning less eggs left. Amh is a measure of egg reserve. Your amh is very low.

How long have u been trying? Are you considering ivf?

I am 45 and I have been trying to get fertility treatment for 10 year and my doc said no to give me that. My husband is sterile and he don’t want to have fertility thing checked. I can’t get IVF cause I am to old. Anyone know if there is hope for me ?

You could try donor eggs or donor embryos. That’s probably your best bet at this point.

Tigerlije · 08/03/2018 20:41

I have hope that my gyn will help me. I have high risk of blood clots and had bilateral pulmonary embolism with cor pulmonale that nearly killed me. Do you know if there is medication that I can use to get my eggs to come out. I have good egg qualities it is 7,4 it is that is not a lot of them. Is it true that I can’t get pregnant with AMH less then 1,1 is there anything to do with high estradiol I feel useless hopeless and want to give up on everything. I really want to be a mum. I can’t do IVF I don’t gave that option cause I am over 40 I really wish that I could do anything now I really want to die cause no one has a value with out beeing a mum I feel I know others do it’s me that’s feeling worthless useless and hopeless

I can’t use IVF donor eggs anything like that I can’t get that cause I am to old for it it is no clinic that will help me.

FannyFifer · 08/03/2018 20:44

If your husband is sterile then how would you have a chance of getting pregnant?

Tigerlije · 08/03/2018 20:45

Sorry really depressed and crying here
I don’t want to die I really want to be a mum and all options shutting down and I am afraid to

OP posts:
Tigerlije · 08/03/2018 20:46

I am using a sperm donor. He is a good friend and is coming to help me.

OP posts:
Chattycat78 · 08/03/2018 20:46

You can use donor eggs up to around 50 I think, although yes you would have to pay privately.

If your husband is sterile, natural conception is not an option, plus Tbh at 45, chance of natural conception is very small anyway.

Tigerlije · 08/03/2018 20:51

I know. Is it a chance at all you think to get pregnant with home insemination ? Is there hormones that my gyn can give me that can help me ?

OP posts:
Tigerlije · 08/03/2018 20:52

I am using home insemination with my health very fertilie donor. Is there anything I can do to help me conceive anything ?

OP posts:
NorthernLurker · 08/03/2018 20:55

You need medical advice not advice from the internet. At your age the chance of conceiving is low. The chance with home insemination with a long cycle like that so I presume it's hard to pinpoint ovulation is very , very small. Have you actually told your husband this is how you are trying?

Tigerlije · 08/03/2018 20:57

Anyone with some experience to help out a woman with low AMH good egg qualitiy very high estradiol that is very desperate to be a mum Smile Anyone with idea on what hormones fertility drugs alternative treatment Smile I do anything I can’t do IVF I can’t do ED as my blood will suffocate eggs that are not mine (hematology thing not sure what it is) I am sitting here crying over blood result and shit

I have been trying to get fertility treatment for 10 year and my doc said no to give me that
Why were you refused fertility treatments?

notmenope · 08/03/2018 21:35

This is an interesting article:
www.nhs.uk/news/pregnancy-and-child/hormonal-fertility-tests-waste-time-and-money/

I know little about fertility tests but a quick search brings up lots of useful information. I suggest you Google (other search engines are available!) reliable sites and gather as much info as you can before your appt where you can ask all you need to know.

Chattycat78 · 08/03/2018 21:35

No one knows how many eggs are left with amh scores. It’s impossible to say. However to be honest your biggest issue at 45 is going to be egg quality. Our eggs deteriorate as we age.

Tigergreen · 08/03/2018 22:32

Sorry your feeling so down OP. It’s extremely hard to be in the no mans land of waiting (for answers, bfps, babies, treatment etc) but try to stay calm. Think others have given great advice above - google what you can do you have a list of decent questions ahead of your appt. I hope youre okay and I wish you strength and luck x

FSH doesn't tell you your egg quality. It's your level of follicle-stimulating hormone i.e. how hard your body has to work to ovulate.

At 45, statistically speaking, I'm afraid the vast majority of your eggs will be chromosomally abnormal. Barring other issues, a 45-year-old woman might possibly become pregnant, but it's not a given, and her odds of miscarriage would be higher. Own-egg IVF would also have very low success rates at age 45.

I would suggest that donor eggs or donor embryos would give you the best chance. I'm confused about your statement that you're 'too old' for this, because part of the point of donor eggs is that they make age more or less irrelevant. You should be able to find a clinic willing to work with you, if you look around a bit. Good luck!
