I'm not sure if this is the right place so please forgive me if it's wrong.

I've never had regular periods, they've always been unpredictable. So I've been on the pill (cerazette) for years, but we finally decided the time was right to come off. That was back in June. Since then I've only had 2 periods, one back in October and again in January. I know it can take a while to get back to some kind of normality after bc but I'm getting frustrated now.

I've been taking a folic acid supplement since June and since December I've also been taking a magnesium based multi vitamin too.

I'm 39 and I think I'm just wondering at what point to try to persuade the drs to start to investigate.

If you're under 30 and have been TTC for 12 months go to docs, if you're over 30 and have been TTC for 6 months go to docs. Sooner you go sooner you can start getting tests. Good luck !
