Nice to meet you Grin

Xx

Camay · 27/02/2018 14:11

Hey hun!
Lovely to meet you and congrats on your transfer! I had my day 5 transfer today, I literally don't know how I'm going to get through this wait!
How are you feeling? Is this your first cycle? X

Hi Camay

Thats great, 5 day transfer wishing you a sticky bean(s?)

I dont know how im going to do it either but i supppse its one day at a time .

Yes this is my first cycle i get one funded on nhs. Had 2 embyros put in . they were aiming on a 5 day transfer but decided to transfer yesterday.
Not feeling too bad bit of an achy tummy think its down to the prostegen gel im on at the moment. just feels strange to think of them in there .

Xx

Camay · 28/02/2018 07:46

Morning herewegoagain18

Thank you! Wishing you the stickiest of beans too!

My first cycle too, like you got one funded on the NHS (I'm old lol) so praying this one sticks!

We had 2 embryos and unfortunately one stopped growing so we have one perfect one in there and you're right it feels so weird to know it's there!

I took a couple of days off work but I'm already driving myself nuts, need the distraction I think!

What test date do you have? It's nice having someone who knows exactly how this feels!

X

Hi Camay Smile

Mine was one cycle funded due to ccg not age criteria so hope you dont feel too old . lol.

Im sorry to hear of the other embryo but you said had perfect one (high quality?) so thats brilliant one can still be enough Smile

Mine were 6 cell so above average (by there standards). I had 4 remaining at 4 cell x2 and 1 and 2 cell

Sending you sticky thoughts back it is nice to know (although not ideal we are having to go down this route) someone else understands .

Im on a couple of other threads in this section of others all going through it if you wanted to take a look. They are the ones at the top of the thread lists.

Most are at various stages some at same stage and i have found some egg collection buddys and near the same stage in tww so you would find something in common too Smile

Camay · 28/02/2018 11:46

Yeah I'm 40 so practically ancient in terms of pregnancy lol x

Yeah we were hoping for 2 but have to hang onto the fact that it only takes one! 🤞🏼

You did really well!! Are you hoping for 2??

Yeah it's really nice to have someone that understands but as you said shame either of us has to go through it!!

Thank hun, I defo want to join the other threads, I'm just struggling with the app a bit? Not sure where I'm looking?? Man now I do feel old looooool x

OP posts:
herewegoagain18 · 28/02/2018 13:43

Oh bless you lol as long as your a young 40 Wink

Thats right espically if its a blastocyst one can be enough.
I was hoping for blastocyst and would of just had one put back. As ours wernt blastocysts which is what the hospital was aiming for, we considerd two. The hospital decided on putting the two back in.

Ah don't feel old, im not even using the app im on the mobile site just on web browser so im not even up to date with being on the app Grin

Camay · 28/02/2018 14:36

Ah in my head I'm still 18, my body just keeps reminding me I'm not Confused

Yeah our little one was a blastocyst so I'm hoping it's bedding down in there and I hope your two are getting nice and comfy!

We would have loved 2 but we would be over the moon with a healthy baby... I don't think you can appreciate how much you want a child and how heartbreaking this whole process can be unless you've lived it like us!

Hahaha! Thanks for making me feel better!! Smile xxx

I just had my 2 day transfer today, felt a bit surreal was in and out in less than 10 min and now I've got the long wait ahead.

how are you coping with the wait? I'm lucky enough to have a little girl from icsi so I'm sure she will help keep me busy.

Camay · 02/03/2018 19:13

Hey @longrd congratulations on your transfer! How are you feeling??

I'm 3dp5dt and already going out of my mind lol x.
This is my first round of IVF and we had icsi too... so keeping everything crossed 🤞🏼

Hope you are relaxing! x

Hi Longrd and Welcome
Congrats on your transfer. It must have done as that does sound very quick and for such a big event.

I'm on 4dp3dt am doing OK not going too stir crazy (so far) this is my first cycle too I had ivf.

Glad you have your little girl to get you through Smile

longrd · 02/03/2018 20:31

Thanks ladies...its only been a few hours and I wish I could do a pregnancy test. I've never been good waiting! every twinge In my stomach I'm wondering if it's all going ok even though I know it's to early to tell.
fingers crossed for you both!

do you have any embryos frozen? out of the 7 eggs i had only 1 (the implanted 1) survived only 4 were viable in the first place. (I'm 37 and have a low amh, husband has low sperm count)

user1497036202 · 02/03/2018 21:07

Hi guys I thought I might join in - had s day 2 transfer last Friday so a week in. Doing ok but struggling with headaches and dizziness. I know a few of you from other boards so hi again! X

longrd · 02/03/2018 22:49

user1497036202 poor you do you think it could be from progesterone?

user1497036202 · 03/03/2018 07:53

Thanks @longrd yeah I think it may be progesterone but also I am on fragmin injections which thins the blood so assuming that is causing the dizziness x

Camay · 03/03/2018 15:09

Hey @user1497036202 @longrd @herewegoagain18

How are you all feeling this afternoon?
I'm now 4dp5dt and I'm so tired, crampy and headachey!! It's hard to know what's me and my body and what's the progesterone!

I'm also wanting sugar a lot and I don't usually have a sweet tooth?

X

OP posts:
longrd · 03/03/2018 16:06

@camay it's hard as you really want it to be the embryo implanting but at the same time scared it's the meds...ill keep everything crossed for you!! what day do you test?

Camay · 03/03/2018 17:37

Thank you @longrd that's exactly it! Every symptom could be either! It's so frustrating lol x

I test 11th and need to book my beta for the 12th... 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

How are you feeling today lovely? Have you managed to have a good sleep? X

herewegoagain18 · 03/03/2018 18:02

Hi @ Camay user and longrd

Hope your all ok

Sorry to hear your struggling with the wait longrd i felt like that the first day or so after e.t then I've had to think probably what's destined to happen would of happend by now so to try not to think too much of each twinge ( easier said than done!)

I don't have any eggs frozen, I did have 4 remaining after e.t (embryo transfer ). Originally had 8 eggs collected 6 fertilised and they put two back in that were standing out as the best at 6 cells.

3 of 4 got to early blastocyst on day 5 but they needed to wait for another day. Two became blastocyst but unfortunately as it was day 6 were not suitable for freezing 😐

Nice to see you here user 😀 hope that dizziness and headaches eases soon if it's the prostegene

camay know what you mean about it hard to know if its you or prostegene?
Weird about the sudden sweetooth.
I read somewhere when ttc that different types of craving are caused by either pms ( not sure it can apply here) or pregnancy . I think it was sweet for pms and savoury for pregnancy. but who's to say as we are all individuals. Hope you feel better soon xxxx

herewegoagain18 · 03/03/2018 18:03

Bold fail @ user
Xx

user1497036202 · 03/03/2018 18:25

Thanks guys! So can I ask when is everyone's test dates? X

longrd · 03/03/2018 18:27

@camay oooo not long then! though I'm sure at times it doesn't feel like that. xx

I'm good thanks since taking the stims and now cyclogest I can't get through the day without needing a nap. is anyone else finding that?

@herewegoagain18 thanks hun...i need to get a grip lol I'm trying not to drive my husband crazy with every twinge story so I'm glad I'm able to share my craziness with you ladies xx

user1497036202 · 03/03/2018 19:01

I am the same @longrd my poor other half is so bored of me talking about symptoms.

I am hoping this week goes quick!

user1497036202 · 04/03/2018 09:17

So kept on waking up throughout the night with blinding headache and this morning have had a little bit of yellow cm. not sure if good sign or not. I literally could not call it at the moment x

longrd · 04/03/2018 10:14

@user1497036202 headaches are horrible I kept getting them during my stims but nothing now...which is great but also at the same time I'm wondering if that means it's not working.... you can drive yourself crazy trying to guess if it's working or not.x
