If anyone is in similar position please say hi x

Not starting, have done it and want to wish you luck.
I went to Cyprus for IVF, used donor sperm from Cryos.
I now have 16 month old twins!

I'm edging nearer to the time when I'm booking flights... what is it they say? Shit just got real!
I've been enjoying the night sweats and the headaches on buserelin, and I've got a scan on Thursday, I think if things are on track then I have to put my money where my mouth is and pay for the Cyprus clinic... OMGeeeee.

Any one else in a similar position?

Hi. Just did my first cycle of IVF and found out yesterday it didn’t take. I have flown to London from overseas and now I’m just crushed. Don’t know whether to leave or wait to try my one frozen egg. Just feel liue a loser at the moment. And highly emotionally and hormonally charged. 😔

Sadly round one didn't work.... I think a combination of being way to stressed by work and a few personal issues, along with beginners bad luck x

Hi. Have just stumbled upon your post while doing some research. I’m just about to start the IVF journey and having major wobbles. Am debating whether I should have gone for IUI instead. How did you make your decision?

Mesh0603 · 02/10/2018 15:47

Joanne I made the decision by looking at the success rates for iui vs Ivf for my age range (40) and just thought if I'm going to go for it, give myself the best possible chance.

For me that means donor eggs too... and I'm just on day 4 of a frozen embryos transfer 🤞🏻🙂

Thanks for your good wishes. I'm trying to stay calm and positive.
For my first try I had so many different stresses, plus the enormity of what I was doing that I was really anxious. I'm sure that didn't help Sad
If you want to chat some more I'd be happy to?

I have other friends who've also gone down this route so I've got a bit of experience x

Thank you. I’ve been doing the same this week. Stressing a lot! Then thought, that’s probably not going to help so trying to stay calm!
