I had a SIS/HyCoSy a few weeks ago and they said they couldn’t see any adhesions in my uterus and my tubes were clear (still going to ask for a hysteroscopy just to make sure though as I have suspected Asherman’s Syndrome). My periods have been pretty rubbish since my d&c 3 years ago. Day one would be dark red for a few hours and medium flow and then I would just have brown spotting for 3-4 days. Sometimes I would get a light bleed on day 2 but that would be brown also. All in all, in terms of red blood and “decent” flow, it would only be on day 1 for a few hours and then I could happily take my mooncup out and not have to put it back in the next day.
My period this month has been different. Medium/light bleed on day one as normal then the same on day two so had to wear my mooncup both days. Then yesterday it was just brown spotting as usual. But this afternoon, I’ve had to put my mooncup back in as I’m getting a dark red light flow. I’m wondering (and clutching at straws potentially) if it’s at all possible that the SIS has done something (I don’t know what!) that has caused my flow to get a little better? I know I’m probably overthinking and I’ll be mentioning it to my fertility doctor next week but was just wondering in the meantime
