How are you preparing for FET?

I'm going to take the pill in a couple of weeks (unless a miracle happens) before a first FET. I was extremely lucky first time we had IVF and have a beautiful 14mo. I have been told I have a 25% chance of having a baby each attempt . Does anyone have any advice or experience of successful FET? I have seven frozen embryos of highest quality .Thank you

Before my successful FET, I did acupuncture and had a healthy lifestyle (exercise and diet including things like 10 of my 5 a day etc). I also took supplements. After the transfer, I carried on with everything.

It sounds like you’ve got fab embies so the odds are on your side. Best of luck!

Thank you. I don't know about the odds. I'm quite overweight after my last regnancy and an injury so not looking great I think. I do have acupuncture weekly.

An amazing ask what supplements you took? Congratulations on your successful FET. How many children do you have now?

I'm only 22 weeks pregnant with the first but if anything goes wrong from here, I can't blame the FET and so consider it a success already (if that makes sense).

I'm veggie so took a veggie multivitamin + algae based Omega 3. I also eat stuff that some people might consider a supplement, like spirulina, chlorella or chia etc.

I have since switched to Pregnacare (but still carry on with the omega). Never took any coenzymes or pollens or other fancier pills.

Sounds like you're prepping well - with acupuncture and stuff. Sometimes it's just the luck of the draw with transfers, though so I hope you can relax a little. Best of luck!

Thank you. I hope you have a good pregnancy from now. Spirulina is certainly v good for you. I've tried to have it before and just couldn't. I have taken coenzyme q10 for years and take a pregnacare for conception and royal jelly. We'll see!

I'm halfway through my first FET cycle. I'm not doing anything other than take pregnacare. Didn't change anything for my fresh cycle that worked so going with that again! I'll cut out alcohol and limit caffeine from day of ET but otherwise life goes on as normal. We've been told >90% thaw successfully and then we have a 50% chance of pregnancy. Fingers crossed!

Oh that's brilliant. My embryos come from my 40 year old self though so not looking likely but never mind, gotta try.
