Polyps anyone?

Hi all

We've been TTC for 4 years. All tests concluded unexplained infertility. During first round of ICSI at scan before egg retrieval they detected a polyp. (Not picked up on any previous scans or hycosy) they decided to freeze embryos until polyp was removed. Waited one normal cycle after polypectomy before going for FET cycle then scan showed polyp there again. They transferred anyway and it failed. Ended up a bit of a wreck after all that so waited a while before going for embryo number 2. Initial scans have not shown any evidence of a polyp this time. Prostap injection was used for down regulation and things appeared to be going as the should but further scanns after my bleed showed that the lining remained and hadn't come away. The doctor scanned me again a week later and it remained the same so the decided to abandon treatment as it would suggest there might still be a polyp there! Waiting now for another hysteroscapy and possible polypectomy. It's been 49 days since day one of my last bleed and 58 days since the prostap injection(which is only supposed to stay in your system for 30 days) still no period. Can anyone out there relate to this at all??

Hi Mathie I’m sorry you’re having a stressful time of it. I’m also prone to polyps and had my 3rd one removed last Saturday. This last one developed in the space of two weeks whilst I was preparing for a FET. I’ve been told that oestrogen is the culprit. I also got very confused over periods and bleeding but I didn’t have Prostapp so I don’t know if that’s any different. I’m now waiting for my next period so I can start the FET process again and just hope I don’t get anymore polyps
