Hi everyone,

I know the NHS wont invesigate until someone has three miscarriages. I've had a mc, it was my first pregnancy.

I was just wondering if anyone here had ever gone to a private fertility clinic or something to have investigations of their own and how it went.

Thanks!

Am so sorry to hear this. However- please don’t jump the gun and assume there is a problem. Sadly miscarriage is so so common and doesnt mean that something is wrong or that you can’t carry a baby to term. I really wouldn’t jump in looking for investigations at this stage. Flowers

I understand what you mean, but there’s a good chance that no clinic will be able to give you a specific “reason” at this stage. Usually it’s due to genetic problems rather than anything which can be changed.
