4 chlomid instead of 5!

Hi all, Im on my second month on Chlomid. Doctor asked me to take 50mg each day, cycle day 2 to cycle day 6. I just realised on my 1st month I only got 4! I feel terrible and I am wondering if this is the reason I dint get pregnant on my first month. Does any one know the consequences of taking less than prescribed? Obviously this month I will take all 5 tablets as required and I will not forget!

Did you ovulate last month? If you did, then missing one dose is not the reason you didn't get pregnant. I get the stress though - Clomid made me very emotional.

I dont feel that stressed. No more than usual I think. But I do feel emotional. The biggest reason is because I lost my 1 week old daughter a year and a half ago, she was born prematurely when I was 28 weeks pregnant. I did ovulate. I also had 2 scans before, 1 after & my nurse took some blood tests as well and she was 100% sure I ovulated. I hope me and my husband get some good news soon

I'm sorry for the loss of your daughter. I can't imagine how difficult it must be.

If your scans and bloods showed you ovulated last month then the Clomid did its job, so missing a tablet isn't the reason you didn't get pregnant. Fingers crossed you get luckier soon!
