Help! Didn’t realise Synarel ran out!

Hi ladies,

I wondered if anyone could give me their thoughts - I have been taking Synarel nasal spray since 11 jan - and today I realised that I had used more than the 60 doses. I thought the nasal spray didn’t seem to be sending out as powerful a spray :-(. I’ve been using it for 4 days more than I should have done for the max 60 sprays (2 sprays in the morning, 2 sprays in the afternoon).

I got my period after 9 days of using Synarel - which seemed lighter than normal...and after 2 days of no periods it seems to have started again - I’m worried it’s an ovulation bleed :-(. I feel upset that I could have been so careless to have not realised and started on the new bottle.

I imagine this would have been the most important time to be taking Synarel properly (when ovulation might happen).

Does anyone have a similar experience? I have the down reg appointment tomorrow and I’m worried that I’ve messes up and will need to start again.

Hi there, just wondering what happened following your Synarel scare? I too had this happen to me this morning. Bottle was empty and unsure how long it has been empty for, but I expect maybe a day or two. Had my down regulation scan yesterday and all was good. Called my clinic and she told me not to panic, everything was fine and to just carry as as usual (Gonal F starting tomorrow). She told me that the Syranel builds up over time. Hope all went well with your cycle?
