CoQ10 for fertility?

Hello,

I'm asking for a friend trying to get pregnant. She's going to do her second round of IVF in about three months. First she's going to try C0Q10.

She would like to ask if anyone trying to get pregnant have experience with CoQ10 and if so, were you recommended a specific dose?

She might want to check with her dr as cq10 improves egg quality. If she’s having clomid or other drug that enhances egg production she could become at risk of serous multiples. There’s a story out there about someone being told to step away from the husband when she took both as it was too high risk. Depends what drugs she is going to be on though

I asked my consultant about this and he said there was no evidence and not to bother!
