Ivf transfer symptoms

Can I ask what people’s symptoms after ET were and when symptoms started? How intense cramping was (if you had any) on a Scale of 1-10? Any other symptoms and how did you all feel?

I've had one failed and one successful ivf cycle. Got cramping early on in two week wait for both of them, but on successful one I had very sharp twinges on day 2-4 that were really noticeable, so that was my tell tale sign. I guess everyone is different though. Sore boobs started towards the end of the two week wait. Good luck xx

I got a sharp twinge also a couple of days after. My cycle was successful

These threads are almost always skewed towards people who have had symptoms. The symptoms may or may not be related to successful outcome as the medication used to support embryo transfer can cause similar symptoms to early pregnancy.

In the interests of balancing the thread, I’ve had 6 different embryo transfers and had no symptoms with any of them. On the one which was successful, I had a bit of breast tenderness a day or 2 before testing, but I don’t know how much that was a genuine symptom and how much was wishful thinking. Other than that there was no difference in symptoms between the 5 unsuccessful cycles and the 1 successful one and equally the breast tenderness could have been a side effect of the medication rather than anything to do with pregnancy so I don’t think you can read too much into the presence or absence of symptoms.

Thankyou for you responses. I do realise that symptom reading can be huge consequences not actual symptoms. I think it just helps asking people to ease my mind.
