Progesterone levels HELP

Hi all,

Iv just had my levels from dr for my first round of Clomid.

Basically, had a positive opk on CD 15 (Sunday) and had my blood drawn on Friday (CD 20).
My level was 29.1

I was a little disappointed and went back today (CD 24) to have another lot drawn. Today it’s 36.9 - it’s gone up.

Basically, could I have peaked over the weekend at even higher & now be on my way back down or am I on my way up & yet to peak..?

My nurse didn’t know!

I always understood it peaked mid literal phase so CD21 on a textbook 28 day cycle. If you OV’d on CD16/17 (in line with OPK) your levels would peak CD CD23/24 as I understand it. Regardless looked like you ovulated (anything over 30 confirms ovulation I was told).

So my level of 36 was on cd24 so that shows I hopefully ovulated. Fingers crossed. Thanks so much for your reply.

Do you know how soon you can do a test? I did one yesterday which would have been 7 or 8 dpo and it was BFN - but I was secretly hoping that if my level was still up I may be in with a chance..

I think from 9 DPO you might get a positive, I’d wait till your period though... the 2ww is horrendous but you can drive yourself demented POAS too :)
