Still bleeding 6 weeks after ERPC!

I had my first ever BFP in October after 3 cycles of IVF. But sadly was diagnosed with a mmc.
after it failed to pass naturally had to go for ERPC in November. Since the procedure though, i have been bleeding constantly. Spotting sone days, period like others. Have had a scan which showed quite ovaries and thin lining, been to ivf consultant and my GP. Both said some women have this happen. I was hoping to schedule another FET in Jan, but seems unlikely now. I guess i am looking for reassurance- has anyone had continued bleeding after ERPC? Has it totally messed up my cycles now? I am terrified it means my chances are even worse now.

I presume they checked for any left over tissue at the scan?

I think the ongoing bleeding just happens sometimes. I had it for weeks after my Erpc.Have you had blood tests run to check your iron levels as the continual bleeding can really deplete them?

Eventually my cycle went back to normal, it did take a while. Had surgery early Oct and then did an FET in Feb. This was after loads and loads of bleeding post Erpc and blood transfusion during Erpc. It will come back normal but it’s just the most frustrating thing ever waiting.

Thanks water. In a weird way its good to know someone else has experienced this! I will ask gp to check my iron. Just want to move on from this.

You should definitely do that as you want your iron levels to be where they should be before anymore IVF stuff. If they are low you just have to take iron tablets.
